Breakfast at Four Elements Restaurant... a truly international experience
Let me take you through the amazing international experience that we call breakfast at Four Elements Restaurant, Mercure Sydney. It usually starts with a cup of South American Andronicus premium espresso coffee or a mug of premium quality T2 tea that comes from Sri Lanka. If coffee and tea is not your thing we have you covered with a hot chocolate and variety of juices to suit your pallet (we even have chai latte to give you a taste from India).
In our cold buffet section all our pastries and croissants are made and imported from Denmark and freshly baked daily in our kitchen to give you a true feel of Europe. We also have seven different kinds of cereals covering healthy, special dietary (gluten free) and some sweet cereals that will impress the kids. The range includes Coco Pops, Rice Bubbles and dinosaurs bones (that’s Nutri-Grain according to my 5 year old). In our fruit section we provide a tropical selection including juicy pineapple, orange, watermelon, kiwi fruits from New Zealand and many more options.
Let me tell you about my most famous part of the Four Elements breakfast, the hot buffet. Including 11 hot dishes, it has all the items to make a great Aussie breakfast (eggs, bacon, sausage, baked beans, hash brown, tomato and mushrooms) as well as dishes to make an Asian influenced breakfast (including Congee with condiments such as seaweed, pickled radish, pickled ginger, tofu and soy sauce). As one of the only two Indian accredited hotels in Sydney we also offer our guests authentic Indian breakfast dishes such as Uppuma and Poha as a part of the breakfast experience.
This international experience is enhanced by our multicultural breakfast team which includes Brazilian, Indian, Nepalese, Sri Lankan, Indonesian, Chinese and many more (too many to mention) who will look after you from the time you step into the Four Elements restaurant.
So when you are next staying in the Mercure Sydney or just coming in to the city please drop into the Four Elements restaurant to enjoy this unique experience.
