Tropfest

The Tropfest Short Film Festival is a Sydney institution and each year the Domain is packed with thousands of people ready to be entertained, inspired and share a warm summers night in the park.
This year will be no different, with a full day of free entertainment planned. Gates open at 11am with the Trop Jr short film competition kicking off at midday. As the afternoon and night progresses visitors will also be entertained by live music featuring DJs and performances by Pluto Jonze and Faker.
The main event lights up the Sydney CBD skyline from 8pm with the screening of the Tropfest finalists, as each short film gets its chance to shine.
So if you are staying at Mercure Sydney Hotel this weekend, or are in the city on Sunday, pack a picnic and enjoy an amazing cinematic experience in the great outdoors.
