Supporting the Local Community

At Mercure Sydney, we pride ourselves in providing exceptional service to all our guests and also giving back to the our communities. By partnering with charity organisations such as Royal Far West, Stewart House and The Schwartz Foundation, it allows us to contribute to our regional communities in NSW and the ACT through the generosity of our guests and staff. The important work conducted by these charities assists at-risk children to develop healthier lifestyles, promotes self esteem and empowers them to achieve their goals.

'Room For Hope'

Supporting Children's Charities

A part of Mercure Sydney's ongoing commitment to the community is participation in the Room for Hope program. Room For Hope was created by Greg Brady, General Manager of Mercure Sydney and Dr Jerry Schwartz, the owner of a number of Accor hotels.

The Room for Hope program involves participating hotels to invite their guests in donating just $1 to their hotel bill, most opt to donate more. 100% of the donations raised are shared with Royal Far West Children’s Health Service and Stewart House each year. This program has been extremely successful thanks to the generosity of our guests and we thank them for their support. (Click here to find out more)
