I would like to thank the staff at the Mecure Sydney for assisting me in my last stay there. I was very unwell and ended up spending the night in the hospital. Some confusion arose in regards to parking during this time. But what I really wanted to do is sing the praises of the manager who took care of us while we stayed. He went over and above what I would have expected and I appreciated it no end at the time and also now that I look back. Thank you. Unfortunately I cannot remeber the name of the manager, I was not too well. It could have been Paul. Please pass on for me, thanks.

We stayed at the Mercure Sydney for 3 nights and still didn't want to leave. The staff were always looking out for us, giving us great service and making sure that we were enjoying our stay there, and even helped us with our departure. I thoroughly appreciated the help all the staff gave us. The Mercure Hotel has even more benefits. We were able to save on paying for taxis, even the train most of the time as it is within walking distance to many attractions (and don't worry about the walking distance, I am not all that fit and really enjoyed the walks). Plenty of maps and tourist destinations were offered by the hotel staff as well.

We have stayed at the Mercure Sydney a couple of times in the past, as it is close handly to Central Station to enable us to catch our country train. All the staff go out of their way to help, especially as we usually arrive there about 8 am after a long flight. Also if you don't want to eat in their restaurant (although I don't know why you wouldn't) there are lots of other places in Chinatown.

It has taken me a month but I did want to write and let you know how impressed we were with the staff at the Mercure Sydney during our stay January 6-9, 2010. In particular, I would like to mention the very helpful men at the concierge desk and Vladimir at the dining room. If it weren't on the other side of the world, I would say we would be back! I doubt that will happen but we will recommend it to anyone travelling to Sydney. Thank you!

We stayed at the Mercure Sydney December 11-13 for our 20th anniversary. What a wonderful hotel! The staff from reception, restaurant and any staff member we came across were cheerful and courteous . The facilities were great and all this made our stay very enjoyable. So much so that we are returning to the hotel in January with our children so they can experience this wonderful place also. Friends we have recommended the hotel to are looking into making reservations next month also. Please pass on our thanks to all the staff and we look forward into seeing you again in January.

Booked as a "mystery" hotel and were dubious at first about location. It turned out of course that the location was excellent and convenient for everywhere. The staff were genuinely friendly as opposed to "customer-service-trained-friendly" and this was much appreciated. Hotel is well appointed and we will certainly be returning here when we need to stay in town.

I stayed in the hotel between 28/11/09 to 4/12/09. A BIG THANK YOU to the concierge gentleman who ensured that I reached the airport on time. There was a problem with the Airport Shuttle Bus arrangement. Rm 713.

Great location, services the lot. From the moment you enter the foyer you are looked after. Excellent location close everything great experience will definately stay here again. Oh and I forgot to mention the great value breakfast in the restaurant on the 1st floor. I would like to Thank the staff for a great experience.

Absolutely nothing else you could do to improve the service for me. I returned to your hotel from 8-9 Oct and my comments relate to those nights as well. I travel from NZ for business and whenever possible yours is the hotel of choice for me. I have recommend your hotel to others and will continue to do so. Thank you.

A great place to stay. We booked the spring package which included a superb buffet breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful. Although the location is some way from the city centre and harbour, it is next to the train station and buses. We bought a weekly travel ticket for the buses, trains and ferries ($38 for 7 days or $46 to include the Manly ferry) and enjoyed finding our way around sydney jumping on and off various modes of transport. After an exhausting day we would arrive back for happy hour at Eves Place before venturing out for the evening. The only slight negative was being given a room with a double bed when we were told it would be a queen size but the positive was we told reception who imediately booked changed our room which was also bigger in size. For the price I thought this hotel was great value. Most of the time we only used the room for sleeping as there was so much to fit in.

I want to commend the management and staff for their excellent service during our recent stay at Mecure Sydney Hotel. All of the staff were friendly, polite, respectful and eager to please. Even in the lifts or corridors they were quick to smile and greet. This is a demonstration of excellent training by management and the willingness to please the customers that is obviously been instilled by management but willingly carried out by the staff. In particular, I would like to commend Adam at the Concierge Desk for his extraordinary commitment to providing service. When I approach him about getting something couriered interstate he quickly and willingly responded even though he was extremely busy with many guests after his attention. He also followed through as promised after I had booked out, by ringing me the next day and the following day to update me on what he had arranged with couriers as to getting my goods picked up and sent. Well done Adam, (I think you are definitely management material) and well done everybody at Mecure Sydney Hotel!

I was a guest at your hotel on 27June09 for a surprise 60th party. I would like to congratulate your staff from check in to housekeepers infact any staff members I came in contact with, especially check in staff. I would also personally congratulate the event organiser Stephaine (not sure of surname) what a wonderful job she did with both organising the SURPRISE and welcoming guests and the list goes on with so many added "little extras" that was done to ensure this was a memorable event. Thanking your staff from Mercure Sydney I would certainly use your hotel again.

I recently stayed at the Mercure Sydney for a few nights on the Winter Hot Deal Special. I would like to thank you for a wonderful stay. The staff, from the time I checked in at reception to enjoying the delicious breakfast each morning, were always friendly and extremely helpful. I stayed in a Privelege Room, City View Room on the 13th floor. The room was spotless with fantastic views of the city. The location was perfect with buses stopping regularly right outside the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay in Sydney, I could not fault anything and will definately stay again!!!

After a very long and confusing 10 hour drive, we arrived at your hotel exhausted and frustrated. After hearing of our situation, your staff immediately took things into their hands and looked after everything for us. The staff, especially the concierge team, (with a very special thanks to Alex) went over and above to ensure we had an experience surpassing any of our expectations. Our room was immaculate and offered amazing views of the city. The location allowed quick and easy acess to all the main attractions on foot or by bus. All the staff we encountered were friendly, well informed and so very helpful. Thanks to all of you for making our stay in Sydney one we will remember always!

My husband and I stayed at the hotel from 11th to 14th July, 2009. The concierge staff were very helpful with where to go and how to get there. Our room was comfortable and excellent views from our window. Thank you to all staff for making our stay in Sydney a memoriable one.

I stayed in the Mercure Sydney Hotel between 21th June to 25th June. During the stay, I had to find my way to Baulkham Hills. For me, the first time traveler in Sydney, the concierge department was very very helpful, especially Alex, he told me the quickest way to go there, and even photocopied a map for me. With Alex's assistance, I found the destination finally and without wracking my nerves. So, I'd like to thank Mercure Sydney's concierge department, and especially Alex, for their kind assistance.

Hi, I'd just like to express my absolute satisfaction with the customer service we received in our stay last month. One of our bags went missing in our flight from N.Z. Your conceirge team was magnificent in attempting to retrieve it. They consistantly hounded the airline and kept us informed at all times as to what was happening. Our bag unfortunately never turned up but the team tried their upmost.I forgot to get the names of the staff who helped (one with a shaved head was particularly helpful). Due to the customer service we received I look forward to my next stay at a Mercure hotel. Thanks, Mark

Thank you to all the staff at the Mercure Sydney for making our stay so enjoyable. With two children it was wonderful to be able to stay at a lovely hotel that was child friendly. Great location, walking distance to everywhere. The breakfast was fantastic and the children loved the indoor pool. The exceptional service from all the hotel staff has ensured our return to the Mercure in the future.

Had been in Australia for 3 weeks and this was our final night before flying from the airport very early in the morning. The hotel room was very clean and the hotel had agreed to provide a put up bed for our teenage daughter free of charge. We were only in the hotel for a matter of hours before leaving for the airport. It took five minutes to walk to the Railway Station and then within 20 minutes we were at the departure terminal - this is an excellent choice for ease of access to the airport.

From the start of our stay to the end of it I have nothing but praise for your helpful kind and courteous staff. When we checked your counter staff were great and very helpful, when we needed advice about where things where and events in the City your concierge were always extremely kind and helpful. All your breakfast staff should be congratulated on the wonderful job that they do. On the odd occasion where we saw the Hotel room maids they were also very courteous and nice. So summing it all up I would like to thank all your staff on the exceptional job that they ALL do. I don’t know whether you have staff meeting but if you do please pass on my remarks to ALL your staff as they really do deserve it.
