Have stayed at this hotel and the Melbourne one as well. I really cant find anything to complain about; great service (exemplary actually), location, price is ok for a hotel of this standard. My only concern, and this will be a deal breaker as I am about to book my next 6 months business travel, is charging for Internet, in 2013.Surely after 6 years of custom, in a number of countries I would add-theres some reward for that loyalty?

We just returned from four nights stay from Hotel Mercure, Sydney. I must tell you that myself and my family enjoyed our stay in your hotel. The clean rooms, excellent room service, smiling reception staff made us feel at home. One thing where your hotel scores highly is the great staff that you have on your concierge. They are efficient, friendly and polite. I must particularly mention Mr. John, Mr. Josh and Mr. Shane for their "ever eager to help" attitude. I have never seen this professional service even in 5* hotels across the world, where I have travelled. We will definitely come back to Mercure next time when we visit Sydney.

My family and I stayed at the Mercure 31.5.13-2.6.13, and had an absolute ball. We were well looked after, and all needs and inquiries were satisfactorily met by the most pleasant staff. Hotel was located exactly where we needed it, close to Central Station. When we visit Sydney ey next year, we will definitely be staying here again. Compliments to you all, thank you, The Hamiltons

I recently stayed at the Mercure Sydney. The standard double room was comfortable, quiet, had great views, was roomy and very clean. At all times the Mercure Staff were courteous, very friendly and helpful. This included Reception staff, Concierge Staff, Housekeeping staff and Room Service staff.The LOCATION is excellent with Central Station, a major bus station and the free city bus loop nearby. It is within easy walking distance to China Town and Darling Harbour. I would be very happy to stay at the Mercure again and I confidently recommend it to other visitors to Sydney.

We stayed 4 nights. Very convenient location, clean and comfy rooms, very helpful staff. Every day you could walk into nice and clean room, which makes you feel great. After check out my son got sick all over my self and himself. Staff offered us hospitality room and let us shower and rest before our journey back home. Thank you very much for lovely staff at Mercure. We will recommend to any one looking for comfort with a budget.

Staying here past the last weekend and have a long stay until the 22nd of Dec so almost a month. The staff is friendly, and assisting. Yesterday evening when I was struggling to get a prepaid Nano SIM for my iPhone 5 Joshua at the concierge stepped forward and volunteered to assist me in cutting a regular size to a one that fits in, in the process got himself nipped by the scissors. Must say great customer service and zeal to assist guests. Rooms are great, am on 14th floor, however I would have expected a room upgrade since I am staying for such a long duration and also a complimentary internet service or breakfast. I am returning back again in Jan 2013 for a month so would once again surely stay here. Just anything to make my stay memorable and comfortable. Hope the staff actions my feedback.

I love staying at the Mercure when I come to Sydney. An easy walk from Central coming in from the airport. Rooms clean and staff are on their game and care about the job they do. I am up in Sydney again in Jan 2013 to see Legally Blonde and the Mercure Sydney is my only choice of accommodation that meets and exceeds my expectations. Well done to the team!

My stay at Mercure Sydney was wonderful. From the moment we walked into the hotel we were greeted with smiles and friendly staff. One staff member who deserves a special mention is Ross Jack, who was extremely friendly and helpful and overall very pleasant
to deal with. Even with a busy reception area and limited staff, he was professional and efficient with all our enquiries. The room was beautiful and clean, and the view was amazing. We will definitely recommend this hotel :)

My partner and I stayed their for 2 nights during the week (Anzac Day the 25th and 26th) and are very happy to give a 5 star rating ( that's 5 out of 5 ). Very helpful staff, rooms very clean, neat and tidy. Booked online and got a $50 dollar drink and
food voucher. Would reconmend and would stay there again. All this and at the right price (cheaper than most). I'm sure you will not be dissapointed.

I stayed at Mercure Sydney last week with my partner and we loved it.I would like to thank Carol who was fabulous on check-in.The room was clean and the view was superb.We had dinner in the restaurant, the service fantastic and the food was delicious.I
would definitely recommand this hotel to my friends and family.

Fantastic !! In september last year we stayed here for a week as part of our honeymoon, we are from the UK and this was the first stay for us in Australia. The staff were brilliant,they helped us book trips and advised us on the best plaes for honeymooners
to dine. Our room was excellent and i especially appreciated the coffee machine (jet-lag).We would stay with you again, thank you for a wonderful experience. Scott & Kathryn Kishere.

My wife and I along with a large number of other people were put up at the Mercure by Qantas as a result of the cancellation of our flight to Melbourne due to the Chilean ash cloud. I can't speak highly enough of the way the staff at the hotel dealt with
this sudden influx of a large number of unexpeted guests. They were efficient, polite and extremely helpful at all times despite some of the passengers being a bit stressed. They not only booked everyone is as quickly as possible but arranged to provide breakfast
and then lunch for this large number of new guests. Nothing was a bother for any of the staff who went out of their way to make all the new arrivals feel welcome.

Stayed here for 3 nights in April would highly recommend this hotel. Staff where very friendly and helpful nothing was a bother even gave us a balconey which was great. So handie to the station and busses would come back again.

We have just returned from a two night stay in your hotel and I have nothing but the highest praise. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The staff were so pleasant and helpful. The room was impeccably clean, quiet and well appointed. Room service
was prompt and breakfast in the restaurant was lovely. Location really worked for us and we will certainly be back the next time we visit Sydney.
