Mardi Gras 2014: Pride, Parade and Festival
The 36th annual Sydney Mardi Gras is back! Hundreds of people from both overseas and all over Australia make their way to Sydney to take part in all the festivities. Here are a few of the main events to help mark your calendar!
What: Day for Night (Party)
When: Saturday, 15th February
What time: 6:00-11:00 p.m.
About: “Part performance art go-go, part T-dance, and part exhibition.” A performance exhibition that you sure don’t want to miss out on!
What: The Mardi Gras Disco Climb
When: 17th February – 6th March
Time: 10:00a.m. -7:00p.m.
About: “Festively decked out as a rainbow and beneath a shiny disco ball, you can dance like a diva to disco beats – your performance will be yours to keep forever as an 8 second complimentary video.”
What: 2014 Harbour Party
When: Saturday, 22nd February
Time: 3:00-11:00 pm
About: You don’t want to miss out on the Harbour Party including a dance floor and cocktail bars located in the Botanic Gardens.
