Each year AccorHotels celebrates International Women's Day, which takes place every year on March 8, to speak on a subject the Group holds dear: the parity Men / Women. Each hotel worldwide are challenged to create an image that showcases a chosen theme.
This year's theme is "You are a woman, and your passions know no gender." It thus honours all of our female employees, who are passionate and enthusiast women!
On this occasion, a photo contest called #BePassionate and Mercure Sydney submitted an image that not only is a sure winner, but also sends a powerful message!
A few of the lovely ladies from the Mercure Sydney office have unveild their true passion outside of work hours.
By day, Alexis is our very efficient and accommodating Events Executive, she recently took up boxing and has been training for 3 weeks!
Jade is Mercure Sydney’s smart and competitive Revenue Manager, she has been climbing rocks, cliffs and other terrifying high things for about 2 years now.
Witty, well-organized and not just a pretty face, Kathryn, our Sales Executive recently started training in a Gridiron team. A predominantly male sport, she has been improving every week!
Last but most certainly not least, Jennifer is Mercure Sydney’s Talent & Culture Manager. But I wouldn’t mess with her; Jen has a black belt and 10 years’ experience in Jeet Kune Do which was created by Bruce Lee.
A massive thank you to Alexis, Jade, Kathryn and Jennifer for sharing their passions and showing that anything is possible regardless of gender!
